I had space for a second shelf but never made the trek to buy a second shelf. After moving to a new home/state, we moved this furniture into our master bedroom and realized we really could use a second shelf. I searched the internet and was pleased to find this bookshelf still available. It was at a reasonable price plus with free shipping, we jumped on it. It was delivered quickly and didn't take long to put together. Thank you to the seller!
