I ordered this desk, but instead of Chocolate, it came in Espresso which is almost black. I was very happy that it came to be like that because it looks even better than the one in the picture. I recommend this product. Add to cart, yo.

Mission Computer Desk - Natural Review

(More customer reviews)I bought my first one of these desks for my guest room (only 12 x 10). I needed a desk that would accomidate my 19" monitor but, had a pullout keyboard tray and matched my natural wood decor and floors, without taking over the room. I also live in the southwest so the style fit in with our existing decor plan without breaking our budget. It was pretty easy to put together (30 - 45 minutes) with very simple tools. My first one has served me well for about a year. The only problem is that I need to tighten the frame as the keyboard tray slips off occasionally. There is only minimal room for paperwork, books, etc. I find it excellent for my needs of surfing the net, paying bills, and propping my feet on while watching TV. I would rate it a 5 if there was no way to hide computer cables. A back panel that extends most the way to the floor would really have helped. I hung a towel the color of our walls behind the desk and that does on OK job of hiding cable running from the CPU to the monitor and they keyboard. Mousepad space is tight so I put mine on the keyboard tray and increased my mouse speed. Target has several other Mission style furniture items that match the desk for reasonable prices. I bought 2 smaller computer desks that have room only for a monitor for our second computer and my my computer at my office. They also have had 2 different styles of matching shelves. I bought (4) 3-tier shelf sets and (1) 4 tier shelf set. The best thing about these shelf units is that they come assembled. You simply fold out the shelves and thats it. These shelf units are amazingly sturdy. Finally I bought a desk organizer that fits onto the desk reasonably well.

Reflections Student Desk - Creative Interiors - 924-665 Review

(More customer reviews)We thought this desk would be great for our daughters room, to go with all the other white furnishings, however upon arrival of this desk we found it to be NOT pearl white as the picture may seem, but a dull white, and the drawers are not sturdy at all. Parts were missing, and drawer space is limited, The corners were chipped and the glue just don't stick as it shound. I would shop around before buying this piece.

59" Legare® Select™ Bookcase Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this bookcase based on a number of very positive reviews at both the T-store and the Wal-store websites. The instructions are simply pictures, no words; but they are very small sketches on a large page. It was hard for me and my son to see the detail of which pieces went in which direction. We finally got it assembled (it took more like 10 minutes than the advertised 3) and stood it up, and it's severely canted forward. We tried various shims and have ended up with two ping-pong paddles underneath it as shims! This is too severe. However, Legare is working with us to find out the problem.
Also, it's called a 59 x 14 x 18 bookcase, but the actual amount of shelf depth is only about 10". So this is not truly useful for what I wanted, which was a shelf inside the front door for handbags, library books, laptops and school backpacks and so on.
Rather than try and return it to Amazon I suppose we will live with it and use it for books in a different room. From now on, no buying furniture sight unseen!!
