Enclume DR3 Decor Bookshelf Wall Rack with Grid, Hammered Steel Review

Our new pot rack has been mounted and holding pots and pans for a few weeks now. It's looking good, and it has survived the Thanksgiving cooking rush. Since the space between brackets does not match the widch between wall studs, I had to mount some 1/4 inch pieces of wood on the wall first, and then I mounted the rack to that using the lag bolts that came with it. I painted the wood to match the wall color and it can hardly be noticed.

Made of rugged hammered steel, this handsome wall-mount bookshelf adds order and convenience to any busy kitchen. Mounted one way, its gridded shelf holds cookbooks and cooking magazines securely between two decoratively scrolled bookends. Mounted upside down, the bookends serve as elaborate shelf brackets, converting the bookshelf into a handy pot rack for a sleek, distinguished way to display cooking aids and utensils with style. Accessories include 6 grid brackets, 12 pot hooks, and 4 lag screws with exclusive toggle anchors for supporting hundreds of pounds and installing directly into drywall, eliminating the hassle of searching for joists or studs while mounting. A sophisticated supplement to cupboard and drawer space, the wall-mount bookshelf mounts on 24-inch centers and measures 10-1/4 by 26 by 10 inches.

Bookshelf Pot Rack Review

This is a very substantial pot rack made by Rogar, ideal for a small kitchen, and the matt black finish looks good.
It comes with a nice set of hooks as well.
It's designed to mount to wall studs with 32 inch spaced
mounting holes at each end, and one in the center at the rear of the shelf.
I took previous reviewers advice and discarded the
mounting screws provided which are inadequate and purchased (5) #14 2 inch long philips head wood screws and they worked OK.
I purchased it at Target for under $50 incl shipping.
If you have space the double shelf version is very good value too, but you have to be able to reach the upper shelf when the lower shelf is positioned high enough to hang pots.
