(More customer reviews)After scouring the web, Home Depot, Lowes, & many specialty lighting stores, I decided to go for this LED bundle. I am glad I did. The warm light is just perfect for under cabinet purposes and does a good job of illuminating the counters. I had to order some extra power adapters, and the supplier was super responsive and mailed them quickly. Please note this bundle comes with only two power supplies. So if you have your cabinet layout where you need more power supply points, then you may have to get the additional adapters.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this kit to light a 10' strip of counter-top including the kitchen sink & two flanking counter surfaces that are used for standard kitchen activity (cooking prep, dirty-dish staging, coffee making, et cetera). I have found this product to be a nearly ideal solution for my situation. Specifically, I rent my apartment, and therefore do not want to install anything to permanently; I also wanted a product that was low power, but with enough light production to facilitate working without straining my eyes.
The kit arrived promptly, and I was initially worried that I had been sent the incorrect product because the packaging was so small, but in fact, it was the correct product. Rather, the design is so compact that I was fooled into thinking I had been sent a single-panel.
I had it installed & working in about 5 minutes with the use of a phillips head screwdriver. I opted not to use the main-switch because it would have been difficult to install it in a convenient location while hiding the wires that connect to it. However I can imagine several ways that this switch could be installed in a clean integrated way into the cabinetry, but because I do not own my home, I don't want to go to the trouble of modifying the cabinets.

PPA OLSHARGB Home Accent Multicolor LED Lighting Kit Review

(More customer reviews)This is a "starter kit" from "Parts, Peripherals & Accessories International" (PPA Int), the computer accessory company.
Called a 'Starter kit' because it contains a 120v AC to 12v 2amp DC power supply & IR control unit with remote but only two one foot sections of multi-color LEDs, nine LEDs per section.
Easy to install and you can add more one foot sections or even 5,10 & 20 foot rolls. (available separately)
Looks like a maximum limit of 36 feet of LEDs for each 2amp power unit/controller/remote.
You can also buy items like a "Y" connector so that you don't have to run all lights in a straight row.
Also available are four pin connectors, 12v extension cords etc.

This kit comes with one male to male connector so you can attach one strip to the other. The strips have female connectors on both ends so that you can either plug in the 12v power cord, or the connector that allows more LED strips.
The male pins are very small diameter so be careful not to bend them while handling.
The LED strips can be curved to some extent, in case you have use for it, or if the surface you are sticking them to is not perfectly flat.
I found these pretty bright on the high setting, but that depends on what other light is in the room I'd say,still I can't look right at them without discomfort. In a totally dark room, you can read by the white setting and even with some of the lighter colors.
Remote is good size (see my photo) and has every control needed to turn on/off, dim, change colors, or make the LEDs do automatic "light show" type things. Flashing, dimming etc.
Looking at the specs printed on the power supply I see that it has 12V DC output, also very happy to see that the power supply module was separate from the control unit, using a round plug to attach to the rest of the system.
I do believe this will also make a fun addition to our camper... this system uses 1(dim)to 5(bright)watts PER FOOT, so should not be a problem plugged into a 12V-120V power converter, or running directly off of a 12V battery if I make a new plug to attach to battery or cigar lighter socket.
Might also explore using some of these strips under the overhang on each step of our stairs to light the stairway to the second floor, even on the dim setting they should be plenty bright enough to do that. Although I would NOT suggest using any of the special "Effects" features on stairs, could cause serious vertigo and a fall.
I can see several areas to use this type lighting since it has remote control.
Power supply cord is 34 inches long
The cord on one side of the controller is 12 inches with the one on the other side being 12 inches, control box is 2 inches long for a total reach of 2 foot 2 inches, not counting the 34 inch cord from the power supply.
One thing to note if it matters to you... the "white" light setting is made with the combo of other colors so it's not pure white and has a color tint to it when in use. Nothing bad, just that it's not white white.
They do sell a lower cost white LED version that has white LEDs.
Also, the small diameter connector pins fit rather loosely so I suggest you wrap a single layer of electrical tape around the outside of plugs when you have them the way you want them.

(More customer reviews)We had recently remodeled our kitchen and wanted to add some under cabinet lighting. I wanted something low profile so it wouldn't show and low power so we could use it a lot without running up the power bill. Cost of course was an issue.
I found these and was a little skeptical so I only ordered the 3 panel kit. When they arrived, I was amazed at just how low profile they were. Basically they are surface mount LEDs on a circuit board - nothing fancy but that doesn't matter since they won't be seen. I plugged one in to the transformer and was pleased with the light color (warm white) and brightness.
Installation was pretty easy. The strips are mounted to the underside of the cabinet with double-sided tape. Same with the switch and cable clips. I didn't end up using the screws at all. I drilled a few holes to run the cables and the result is totally unseen undercabinet lighting.
Everyone who's seen this has been impressed. I ended up ordering a couple more strips to cover more area. My wife and I are very happy with these lights.

Super Deluxe 21 LED Under Cabinet Lighting Kit with Dimmer Switches Warm White (see also #4829 and 4863) Review

(More customer reviews)I am in the process of installing a tile backsplash and I wanted to add some undercounter lighting to accent the tile. I looked at three Warm lighting kits: This kit, the Super Bright LED under cabinet cove, Full kit, 10 light panels, 2 powersupplies, warm white LEDs!, and the Under Cabinet and accent LED Lights - 10 panel set, warm white LEDs. I am very pleased with this kit and I am glad I got the one I did. The extra brightness of the Super Bright 21 LED's (vs 10 in the cheaper version) works great. It's hard to tell from the picture but the strips of LEDs are only about 8" long so the extra brightness is nice. I'm also glad I got the dimmer switches. The only difference in the Super Bright Full kit and the Deluxe kit I got is the addition of 2 dimmer switches. Both products show the same product picture, but this one does include two dimmer switches. It really is nice to be able to adjust the brightness so it's full bright for when you are cooking and preparing food and low light for some nice backlighting or mood lighting. You can always get the Super Bright kit without the dimmers and add them later as well (they are $20 a piece on the manufacturer's site).
As for installation, this has to be the easiest wiring job I've ever done. It's literally plug and play. I drilled one hole to pass the wire through the top of my cabinet to hide the plug. Otherwise it's all 2-sided tape and screws. A screwdriver is the only tool I needed. The kit included everything I needed and then some. The ONLY thing I would change is a few more screws would be nice. I like to screw everything in addition to using the 2-sided tape and the number of screws was plenty for the LED strips and some of the wire bundle holders, but I could have used a few more for the wire bundles holders. It's a minor complaint though as my use of screws is likely overkill. I just wanted to make sure that over time the wires don't fall down due to gravity pulling on the two sided tape. I ended up just using the 2-sided tape on a handful of wiring bundle holders until I can buy a few more screws.
The kit came packaged very well and I got it in a matter of days - Priority Mail. I can also buy add on parts or accessories directly from Inspired LED if I need to. This kit is so nice and easy to install I may install more on top of my cabinets to light up the plant ledge. I actually ended up using 1 extra LED strip for this and it looks great. I'll try and add a customer picture to the product page to give you an idea.
In short, you won't regret buying this kit. My only regret is not doing this earlier. It would have really helped during the installation of the backsplash to provide some nice work lights.

Designer Series Under Cabinet LED Lighting Kit - TEN 10" warm white panels, 2 power supplies, 2dimmers, PLUG n PLAY Review

(More customer reviews)I received my order VERY quickly from Inspired LED. Also ordered some 4" jumpers to go between the lights BUT received 12" instead. So I had to cut down some of the longer ones because they were shipped wrong. The kit is very complete with just about everything you really need for the installation. The components seem to be of reasonable quality making the install easy. The disappointment is that they don't put out very much light. They are perfect for that late evening trip to the kitchen but don't help much or at all during the day. We had a few halogen lights under the counter before but they made the bread, bananas, etc. go bad quickly. With all the new LED technology I just can't believe that there are not some really good LED light for under the counter at a reasonable price.
Update: After one week we had a connector fail inside of one light bar. I disassembled it and it had a solder joint failure. Resoldered it and now it works great. Just wanted to post this problem.
