(More customer reviews)i got this shelf because i have a small apt so i have to learn to use the space up high in the room. I even place things on the very top. its a very sturdy piece. It even had a harness on the back to attach to your wall. which actually has saved my life many time because its right beside the walkway and i have run into it pretty hard a few times hurrying though the house coming around the corner :). The shelf is nice for the price. it is a little plasticly kinda shiny wood grain look on the sides and if someone touches or taps the sides you can tell is a cheaper item. but just looking at it from a distance its a very nice book shelf. i think 2 in a row would look very nice too.
