(More customer reviews)This was a nice design idea, but due to the lack of quality in the production it loses any appeal it had. I realize that this is a low priced item, but it is no excuse for the numerous flaws. The worst offense is the laminated edges - each and every one is horrible - doubled over and loose at every splice. Corners and edges are bruised beyond anything you would expect - much of this due to the inadequate box that it was shipped in but some of it obviously occurred in the factory as well. All of this could be controlled with higher quality control at the factory.

It arrived with some damage here and there.
You might use it for dvd/cd's and light books.
I had two guys who have assembled many of these type of shelves put it together and they were also surprised at the low quality. It is shaky and we will not attempt to fill all the shelves, lest it falls apart.
BUT, I still give it two stars, because if you need it for dvd/cd's only and you know how narrow it is and you can wedge it in close to a wall, it might be a nice looking piece, after all.

Just peel & stick, and it only took 2 minutes to put together! It's also a true espresso color, which is what I wanted. Secondly, I put closetmaid fabric drawers inside the cubes and they're not only used for seating but for storage. I also love the fact that no tress were cut down to make this set. (More customer reviews)I searched and searched for a reasonably priced, good quality leaning bookshelf. I found this one after literally hours of searching and comparison shopping. I found that cheaper ones were reviewed as not sturdy with flimsy material. I decided on this one after noticing that it had solid oak legs.
When it arrived I felt a little overwhelmed by all the pieces. But a screw driver and two hours later, I had a beautiful new book shelf. It really looks great. I am considering buying another to match. It's sleek and sophisticated. Great for loft living. It's extremely study. I'm an English teacher with lots of books and this holds my books just fine. No sagging, no split wood. The pieces are nice and heavy and well stained. I got the cherry wood finish. It really is lovely and I definitely recommend it.

(More customer reviews)I have been sleeping on my new bed for half a year now and love it. I purchased only the bed frame with drawers and bookcase. My only complaint has been debris, such as sawdust, falling into the drawers underneath. I think a solid surface instead of the slats for the mattress to lie on would have been better at preventing this problem. I have had no other complaints. I love the extra storage. Do-it-yourselfers be aware; the carpenter I hired to put the bed together for me said it was a jigsaw puzzle. He brought a buddy to help him out, which is good because I doubt a single person could put it together. Took them 4 hours to complete.

In spite of my contacting the seller beforehand to be certain all shelves had enough clearance (7 3/4") to accommodate a standard DVD case, it turns out that, contrary to their claim, the top shelf has only 7" of clearence when the mantel top is added. I had to make a small modification by replacing the supplied dowel connectors with longer ones. Not a big deal, but nevertheless an irritation.
Otherwise, the unit is quite satisfactory - sturdy, attractive, and a snap to assemble. Delivery was very prompt - only three business days.

(More customer reviews)I am quite skeptical by nature and when I saw these, I bought only enough for my dining room chairs as every felt pad that I have used eventually (generally sooner than later) falls apart, falls off, and the movement is never smooth.
These babies are amazing. I put them on my dining room chairs (beyond easy to attach) and they move as if they were on ice. I just made a purchase to cover my sofas, dining room table, coffee tables, and the list of things that I can use it for keep growing.
When I saw thae infamous "Like Seen On TV", I laughed as I tend to think that most of these things tend to be junky products that make empty promises. I am very surprised and quite happy to have spent the extra money that it cost versus conventional felt floor protectors. They come in different sizes and they are not that easy to find online.

The cube is sturdy, and the laminate attractive.
The sides, the top, the bottom are solid
Unfortunately the design has not been carried through--
the doors don't close tightly - a little attention to detail?
the back is paper thin-- why not the same as the rest?
The small brackets supplied for connecting another module are inadequate.
The laminate itself is attractive, but is very delicate.
I shall have to get a plywood backing to cover the back
,and to anchor another module.
Rank this somewhat better than an orange crate-- would gladly have paid a premium
to get a good product-- now I am spending it anyway to fix it.

We could have ordered this same item from Target, but I'm comfortable with Amazon so was happy to see it available here as well. Shipping was fast and packaging was adequate, although there's a small crush point that I don't believe I could have done during assembly that might have been due to shipping... nothing worth fussing over.
All you need is 45 minutes, a screwdriver, and maybe a plier and what you see is what you get. Note: the packaging said it was "cinnamon cherry" colored, but it's the "espresso" color that is pictured accurately.

HON 310 Series Drawer Full-Suspension Letter File Review

(More customer reviews)Made of metal -- just FINE for a home office or a small commercial office -- does what it was made for.
The finish is nice, the drawers glide in and out, and as for unwanted flex (which would denote thin metal and poor quality) there is not very much flex at all. These drawers are rigid, and this means longevity.
I use standard manila file folders -- not hanging file folders, as I find the regular manila folders easier to deal with -- I can fit a good deal of files in this file cabinet.
The drawers are deep - not like the cheaper file cabinets with abbreviated depth -- and the four drawers provide plenty of storage.
In order to prevent unwanted surprises, always load the bottom shelf first and work your way up, so the file cabinet does not topple over -- this is just standard and safe procedure and does not bear on the quality of this product.
