Winsome 82427 Beech Beechwood Shelf 4-tier Foldable Natural Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)A very nice quality bookcase. Pretty easy to assemble IF you read the instructions properly as there is a certain order in which the assembly has to take place. (I didn't). Very smooth, nice quality wood - pieces all joined together no problem once I figured out the proper way to assemble it. I am thinking about purchasing 2 more for a different room in my house. Only problem I had was that the plastic cover buttons that should fit over the screw holes to hide them were not the right size and would not stay in the hole provided, so I had to leave those off. It is not really that noticeable though.

Four Tier Tower Shelf with Metal in Cherry and Chrome Finish Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I use this to store some of my kid's toys, but I wouldn't put anything too heavy on it. It's also not very stable without the wall attachments.

ALL NATURAL THREE SHELF FOLDING BOOKCASE Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I ordered two of these. I have several already & liked them a lot. One of the new ones was not assembled correctly because one of the metal parts on the shelf pivot was defective & didn't fit right. The shelf just fell out. After wasting a few hours with a bruise on the head & a trip to the hardware store to buy a file, I now have two bookcases. So much for easy assembly! Annoying.

Folding Book Case - Bamboo (Bamboo) (53"H x 26"W x 12"D) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Honestly this is a wonderful product. We currently own two for decorative bookcases in our living room. Next to no assembly, just fold and go; holds up to our heavy load of books without any signs of 'stress'; affordable, a third of the starting price of comparable bamboo shelves we found from very nice wood artisans. The second one we purchased came with a defect. I followed the email link I was sent to rate the product, mentioned the problem, and within 24 hours I was contacted by an extremely cordial representative that was more than eager to remedy the issue. We're impressed and would consider browsing Stacks and Stacks' catalog if and when we expand our other home furnishings. Thanks again!

3 Shelf Unit-Unfinished Pine- (Natural) (30"h x 30"w x 13"d) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Dismal! The "predrilled holes" to attach the shelves are completely askewed to one another, it is impossible to actually use more than half of those holes, forcing you to go get (buy) a power drill to drill other holes that are actually lined up useably.

Mission style 14"w 4 shelf Bookshelf Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a very nice piece of furniture, straightforward and easy to assemble. I am quite happy with it.
The top shelf was snapped in half when I opened the package. I assume it broke during shipping. Some wood glue and clamps fixed it. Still, this indicates a quality control problem on the part of the manufacturer to me.

Mission Style 3-Shelf Bookcase Review

Folding / stacking 4 shelf Multicolormedia Storage Unit Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)There's not a lot to say. My criteria is: Inexpensive, wood, natural clear coat finish, NO Particle Board with paper laminate.
It arrived rather quickly -- three days. There is no assembly. However, it's lightweight and felt as if it was going to tip over due to my rough, crude, uneven wood flooring. I pressed down a little harder to secure the feet, loaded the shelves, and to my amazement, it's quite sturdy; I set a glass lamp on top.
It looks nice against the brick wall, too. So, I've decided to get another and some bookshelves from the same series.

Home Star Espresso Corner Ladder Bookcase Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Maximize space with this great looking and affordable corner bookshelf! It was easy to assemble, too, which is always a plus. Not the absolute best construction I've seen (some of the hardware was a bit "off"), but it's sturdy enough to do the job and it looks terrific. Overall, I'm very happy with this item.

Mission Folding Bookcase - Natural Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've bought a number of bookcases from major retailers, and I get annoyed having to put them together. I especially hate the cheap cardboard backings, which inevitably fall off, that are often on these types of bookcases.
Fortunately, this bookcase avoids those two problems. The fold-out styles means that there is NO ASSEMBLY required. When I brought it home, I simply unpacked it and folded it out. It literally took two minutes to have the entire bookcase set up and ready to go. I was worried that a fold-out bookcase might be unsteady, which hasn't been the case at all. I was also concerned that the bookcase might look cheap, but it's really rather attractive.
The Mission style blends easily in most decors, although I think it probably looks best in a kitchen. I have mine in my kitchen to hold cookbooks. The folding style also means that it will be easy to move them to another room if you'd like. I plan on buying more of these convenient bookcases. A most highly recommended product!!!

Stackable/Folding Shelf 3-Tier Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was very disappointed with this item, and it was the only product in many years of shopping at amazon that I had to return. I've bought more than 20 nearly identical bookcases from other sources, widely available on the web, made in Thailand. They require no assembly at all, just open and the shelves fall into place, and they are very sturdy. I ordered 6 of this slightly different product at a higher cost than average because I wanted them in a hurry, and amazon offered overnight shipping for something which usually takes two weeks to arrive. But this bookcase required two people more than an hour to assemble, none of the parts quite fit, and the one I did manage to assemble was wobbly, so I returned the other 5 (which took almost three weeks and many phone calls). It is a mystery that such a poorly designed product could survive the competition.

(More customer reviews)Nice bookshelf, assembly is a bit tedious but can get done. A piece of the wood came off one shelf but I glued it back on. It looks nice in my study and holds a nice amount of books plus has room on top for a few pictures, etc. Nice buy.

Winsome Wood Stackable/Folding 3-Tier Shelf, Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These bookcases were a pain to assemble. One of the horizontal pieces was drilled wrong (one end was reversed)so I had to drill it out, one was missing dowels and it's definately a 4 hand project.
Also, when assembled they are fairly flimsy. I decided against stacking them because I was afraid they would collapse and hurt someone.
I wouldn't buy them again.
