(More customer reviews)A very nice quality bookcase. Pretty easy to assemble IF you read the instructions properly as there is a certain order in which the assembly has to take place. (I didn't). Very smooth, nice quality wood - pieces all joined together no problem once I figured out the proper way to assemble it. I am thinking about purchasing 2 more for a different room in my house. Only problem I had was that the plastic cover buttons that should fit over the screw holes to hide them were not the right size and would not stay in the hole provided, so I had to leave those off. It is not really that noticeable though.

(More customer reviews)This is a very nice piece of furniture, straightforward and easy to assemble. I am quite happy with it.
The top shelf was snapped in half when I opened the package. I assume it broke during shipping. Some wood glue and clamps fixed it. Still, this indicates a quality control problem on the part of the manufacturer to me.

(More customer reviews)There's not a lot to say. My criteria is: Inexpensive, wood, natural clear coat finish, NO Particle Board with paper laminate.
It arrived rather quickly -- three days. There is no assembly. However, it's lightweight and felt as if it was going to tip over due to my rough, crude, uneven wood flooring. I pressed down a little harder to secure the feet, loaded the shelves, and to my amazement, it's quite sturdy; I set a glass lamp on top.
It looks nice against the brick wall, too. So, I've decided to get another and some bookshelves from the same series.

Mantel Top For Folding/stacking Bookcase Review

(More customer reviews)Although I ordered the correct size, this piece was off by a couple of milimeters. It did not fit on the bookcase much to my disappointment.
It also arrived cracked and with a chip in the wood.
I contacted the sellers who said that I had to return the one I had and place a new order for another one. I asked for either a refund or for them to send me a replacement immediately, neither of which they can do.
It it too much of a pain to face the postoffice and return such a bulky item.
Just beware that this may arrived damaged and it may not fit the bookcase.
