(More customer reviews)Please be aware that this table is NOT 4" deep as advertised, but 14" deep and does NOT have a working drawer. It is a nice table with easy assembly. So, if the deeper size and not having a drawer is not a problem for you, this is a great deal.

Prepac Maple 2-shelf Bookcase Review

(More customer reviews)It looks nice and matches my oak floors well (I got the oak, but it is the same book case other than the 1 micron thick veneer). I got the book cases (four of them) because it fits into the space in my office and it looked, from the photos, okay, especially for the money. Given that I didn't pay shipping or taxes, I figured I'd go for it.
This is what the company selling the product does NOT tell you. If they did, they would sell far less product. I know I wouldn't have ordered this book case. 1. The back of the book case is not laminate wood (as advertised) nor is it a board. It is cardboard with a sheet of oak looking paper on it. It is both cheap and false advertising. 2. The clips to hold the shelf in place are made of plastic. They need to be changed to brass so that the shelf does not collapse from the weight of the books. That's an additional expense, albeit minor, but it also means a trip to Home Depot or your local hardware store.
At least now you can make an informed decision. Zero stars for the fallacious advertising, cheap backing, and plastic clips, and three stars for the book case. I am keeping the book cases only because the size is correct for my purposes. We'll see how long it lasts. Fair value for this book case would be about $50. Check Staples, Ikea, Office Depot, etc., before even thinking of buying this book case.

The wood is quality, the color is rich, it is not too big or too small, it is very sturdy, and we didn't need to anchor it to the wall, perhaps because of the way it is built, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out the shelves are adjustable. My husband put it together by himself and said it didn't take very long at all.

I was very happy with free shipping. The shelves were delivered to my apartment in 3 days after completion of my order. No missing or damaged parts. Very easy to assemble. I would buy another one like that and I would definitely recommend this product to others. If you look for something good and sturdy then it is for you. Each shelf can hold up to 90 lb.

(More customer reviews)The bookcase looks exactly as advertised and I'm loving it ... however, please note that it really is a two-person job to put it together ... when I tried to do it on my own, I ended up breaking the particle board in a couple of the places where it holds in the round disk with the screw inside ... with some help from a fix-it man friend that was taken care of and we put it together, but with flipping it to get at the right angle ... more than once, it really does take 2 people! However, it is a beautiful and sturdy item and I love it.

The shelf height is very roomy as I can fit binders on every shelf. Each piece of the bookshelf is quite heavy (lending to the quality), but it was very easy to assemble. I even received a compliment on how nice it is in both quality and appearance!

Mantel Top For Folding/stacking Bookcase Review

(More customer reviews)Although I ordered the correct size, this piece was off by a couple of milimeters. It did not fit on the bookcase much to my disappointment.
It also arrived cracked and with a chip in the wood.
I contacted the sellers who said that I had to return the one I had and place a new order for another one. I asked for either a refund or for them to send me a replacement immediately, neither of which they can do.
It it too much of a pain to face the postoffice and return such a bulky item.
Just beware that this may arrived damaged and it may not fit the bookcase.
