Southwestern Style Five-tier Wall Unit Shelf Rack Oak Finish Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)It's not that great! The wood looks cheap but it is quite sturdy and I use it for a collection of small ceramics. And it's small - the picture is deceiving.

Leafy Grove Metal Glass Shelf Corner Curio Rack Stand Review

(More customer reviews)Very nice plant stand. Easy to assemble and looks great in the corner of my bedroom. One word of caution, though - it tips over if you put a heavy plant near an edge!

(More customer reviews)Needed a corner unit for the re-do of my daughter's room at her home. This unit fit the need perfectly to hold her little knickknacks that otherwise wouldn't have had a home. It compliments her room. I am very pleased with the purchase.

"pyramid" Style Cherry Finish 4-tier Corner Shelf /stand Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The shelf unit arrived in a timely manner, well packaged and undamaged . . . but "Cherry Finish" is very misleading and the customer should be told that it is not real wood, but rather some sort of MDF (fibrous pulp held together with waxes and or glues). I wanted to modify mine to place it on top of a corner desk unit and though the "wood" has a deceptively convincing "grain" pressed into its surface, when cutting it quickly becomes clear that it is not real wood. Had I known, I would not have purchased this product. MDF off gasses ureas and formaldehydes (VOC's) and having already survived cancer, we have consciously attempted to limit these toxins in our home. Also, in very low humidity environments as Southern California is prone to (Santa Ana winds of less than 10% RH) MDF will shrink and connections will become loose, when the slack is taken up and the material swells again it can split the material. It also is easily ruined if gotten wet. Like so much "cheap stuff" you find nowadays: it looks good for a while or from a distance, but you're buying a pig in a poke. Caveat Emptor.

Convenience Concepts Style 151049 3-Tier Bookshelf Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this to house my books in my dorm. It's a great little bookshelf, easy to put together and pretty darn sturdy, not to mention about half to a third of the price you would pay for any other bookshelf like it. The only drawback is that it must be placed against a wall or flat surface, or you risk your books falling out the back. Otherwise, awesome bang for your buck.

"Sunburst" Design Wrought Iron Style 4 Tier Corner Stand / Shelf Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Ordered the wrought iron sunburst corner shelf as a Christmas present for my mother. I was cutting it close but the company did a great job of getting it here a day earlier than expected! The packaging was in extremely rough shape, but the product was just fine. Though the shelves looked as expected I have to admit that the quality of the item was not as I anticipated. The item is actually not wrought iron, but is a wrought iron "design", actually made of aluminum or something similar. I was lucky and got the item for 45 dollars on sale, plus shipping, so still a very nice item for that price. However, the item is marked online with a "list" price of $391 which I find absolutely laughable. I see that the shelf is currently listed for $217 which is still extremely high. This item is worth $85 to $100 dollars maximum in my opinion. But as it is, considering the price I got, it was a good buy and I'm very happy.

Contemporary Style Mahogany Finish Corner Shelf Rack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This product arrived severely damaged with big knicks and scratches. We returned it for a new one. It still had some knicks and scratches on the shelves. They sent us replacement shelves. They still had imperfections, but out of frustration - we have decided to live with it as is. The design and color are beautiful, but the quality is not great.

Provo Corner Mounted Shelf in Dark Walnut Veneer Finish Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is our 2nd "Provo Corner-Mounting Shelf." Obviously we loved the first one enough to buy another. They both have been easy to assemble and we are NOT "handy." We received many compliments on the first shelving that we decided to buy another for another room. It looks very sophisticated and designer like in both the bedroom and now in our living room. Because the shelving is off the floor it obviously doesn't take up valuable floor space. Each shelf does however hold about 20 paperbacks books each or has plenty of room for knick knacks and or framed 8x10 pictures. It really does add an element of class.

Traditional Wicker and Metal 3 Tier Storage Shelf Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this bookshelf for double duty. I just moved my computer to the kitchen and needed a place for my cookbooks and the printer. The printer fit perfectly on the top shelf and the cookbooks below. The shelves are strong enough to hold everything without bowing, and it looks great. Very easy to unfold to assemble. It was JUST the right size for the space, which was hard to find. Highly recommend this product.

Poundex Corner Shelf, Oak Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My husband and I just bought this for a corner of our dining area, but we don't like the quality much.
The assembly is pretty easy to do, but the materials are just all very low-quality. It comes with an extremely small amount of wood glue (looks/feels like library paste) for putting pegs in place. It's also held together by screws.
The color is quite orange...not sure how they came up with the name "oak" for the color. The finish is marred and there are a couple of scratches (one of which we'll need to sand to avoid splinters), and some of the wood appears to be filled in with glue or something because it's low-quality wood.
It wasn't quite worth it to deal with shipping it back, so it'll do its job--it just wasn't really worth the price we paid, cheap as it is.

Maximize the storage space in any room of the house with this corner shelf from Poundex. Great for displaying framed photographs, small vases, houseplants, keepsakes, and much more, the shelf unit fits into a room's corner neatly and offers five wedge-shaped shelves. The corner shelf is crafted out of densely pressed wood, finished in a warm oak hue. To accommodate objects of varying sizes, the shelf size increases gradually from top to bottom. The top shelf measures 20 inches wide by 8 inches deep, while the bottom shelf spans 30 inches wide by 14 inches deep. Upon delivery, the corner shelf requires simple home assembly and comes with necessary hardware and accessories. This item is also available in cherry and cappuccino finishes. The corner shelf measures 29 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 63 inches high.

(More customer reviews)I was leary of buying something like this site unseen. But it is great. Looks just like the picture, came folded flat, and ingenious how it assembles. Just spread open and drop the shelf in place. Looks very nice in my bathroom. Looks exactly like the picture. Not cheap looking at all.

Melannco Espresso Square Shelves, Set of 3 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These shelves are nice, especially for the price, but they are extremely small. I'm not sure how the photo is able to show vases and a bowl in them. The dimensions are listed on the page, so definitely measure before buying. They are nice and of average quality, but much smaller than the photo makes them appear.

3pcs Louis Philipe Style Cappuccino Finish Storage & Display Bookcase Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)It's pretty simple, this bookcase is one of the worst products I've ever bought. While I thought, from the descriptions and the price, that this was a high-quality piece of furniture, it's not. The materials are all a composite fiberboard with a veneer overlay (no real wood anywhere in this.)
The original unit arrived with one of the pieces just broken. Another piece broke apart during assembly with no force applied to it (the particleboard is that flimsy).
It's not just the materials that are the problem, the workmanship on the pieces is terrible. I've worked with many flat pack furniture types and this is the worst quality build I've ever seen. The holes for the cam locks were drilled inconsistently, some were way too large and some were too small. Pieces did not fit together cleanly and the resulting product does not feel solid.
Whenever I'm looking at reviews, I tend to ignore the extreme bads and the extreme goods. I tend to think that someone who is yelling about how bad something is, probably had a uniquely bad experience and they have an axe to grind. I am certainly upset about this product, but it's genuinely shoddy. If it was sold for $100, it might be worth it. It's a good sized, book-case. It's just not close to the price it's being sold for (and this particular model was the best price for this unit on Amazon.) The quality/cost ratio on this one appears to be extremely off.
Get any other bookcase and you will get better quality. Go to Wal-Mart and you will get better quality for $40. Just don't buy this one.

Flip-Flop 6 Shelf Folding Corner Bookcase - Mocha Walnut Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)It looks nice, but it doesn't really function well as a book shelf, guess I should have realized that before I bought it, the round edges make it difficult to effectively take advantage of the shelf space and the whole thing has a tendency to fall forward if you aren't careful.

Nexxt by Linea Modera - Stacked Angle Shelf Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The bookshelf may not e sturdy when it doesn't have books on it, but mine is full and I've had it a little over two years now and have never had it fall or move around; and it's not anchored to the wall. So I don't know what the woman before me was complaining about.
The shelves are different sizes, so you can keep your bigger books on some shelves and smaller books on others. They shelf is a little ridiculous how small it is, but that's the only complaint I have. I've been able to fit every book I own, including binders on it with no problem. So, once again, don't know what the woman before me was complaining about.
It looks great! I get compliments all the time. And a great price! Especially compared to similar bookshelves.
