When you are finished you have a piece that looks like you purchased it right from the furniture store. I am re-doing my office and it definitely makes a statement. (More customer reviews)I wanted to buy a storage for my boys toys but I didn't want anything too colorful since this was going in my living room and I wanted it to match the decor. This did the job! It's beautiful and very easy to put together. The sizes of the bins are also good. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the shape of 2 of the bins were a tiny bit warped. Possibly damaged a little during shipping. They still work but I try to hide those 2 by having them face the other way.
But overall definitely great value and I would buy it again. I'm already thinking of buying a smaller one for their books and board games. I just hate paying so much for shipping :(

The printer fit perfectly on the top shelf and the cookbooks below. The shelves are strong enough to hold everything without bowing, and it looks great. Very easy to unfold to assemble. It was JUST the right size for the space, which was hard to find. Highly recommend this product.

I was really pleased with both the ease of assembly and the finished product. Although it's not the finest quality furniture, it is sturdy, and the finish is looks and feels good. (More customer reviews)All I needed were some temporary (in terms of not having to last more than 1-2 years) nightstands so I found these cheap ones. They came packaged very well, so no issues there. I didn't have any problems assembling them, although I can see how someone who isn't mechanically inclined may have some problems getting the side panels to fit into their slots.
It's a pretty whimpy nightstand. It's very light but I'm not concerned about it falling apart any time soon. I'm a structural engineer and I think it would hold up fine for normal nightstand use (e.g., lamp, tissue box, clock radio, etc.). Although, I do doubt that the thin shelves would hold up well if you were to stack it full of books or other heavy items.
Overall, I think it's a great deal considering how cheap it is. But here is why I'm giving it only 1 stars. The outgassing is HORRIBLE! I even left it unassembled in my garage for 2 weeks thinking it would not give off any more chemical fumes/odors, but when I assembled them and brought it upstairs, if you sleep within 2-3 feet of these things, it will give you a headache or keep you up because it's so strong of an odor. I can't imagine how unhealthy it must be.
It's been at least 4 weeks now and these things are still outgassing. For the price, I can only imagine that they are made in China and if they are still outgassing this much after this much time, I'm now concerned about what type of toxic chemicals my wife and I are breathing in. So I simple threw them out. I thought about donating them to Goodwill but I personally think they are a health hazard.
I've used oil-base paints and other high-volatile paints before, but they usually will outgass within a few days and be done with it. Not these. These are spewing toxic fumes into the air inside my house.
In the trash they go...

(More customer reviews)I have been shopping for baskets a lot recently. Trying to find the right size, color and quality for the right price. I thought I had done it with these, but I was a little disappointed. They kind of have some orange tones in them and are not a very deep color. The picture implies "espresso" right? It's not. They look okay, but feel pretty cheap for the price. Thirty bucks for what seems like a nickel's worth of materials. Also, when you open the box, they have a weird, chemical smell from the dye, which, thankfully dissipates. But, here's the thing- they are still cheaper than most that you can find in any store these days and the measurements are correct in the description. They are not great, definitely not the best looking, but they are functional, usable, little guys and I just ordered another set to match the ones I already have. ;)

(More customer reviews)This was my first winsome wood purchase... and am very pleased. The shelf unit was VERY easy to assemble...took about 30min and was sturdy. I am using this as a TV stand on the very top shelf...and loaded up books on the bottom two shelves...with rattan baskets on the shelf just under the TV. I used the remaining baskets with another winsome wood shelf unit that I bought from amazon.
The color of the expresso is very dark brown, but looks elegant with the rattan baskets which have a cedar/cherry type weave to them. I have cherry wood in my bedroom and this was a great way to bring in the dark brown expresso wood without clashing since the baskets had a cherry weave in them.
The baskets are sturdy and seem to be strong enough to hold everything from jeans to random lighter items.
The wood itself was not as smooth/sanded as I personally would have liked... so after the expresso staining by the manufacturer it had the duller appearance in the places that the wood was rough. This was easy to adapt to by turning the wood piece over to hide it. For the price it was worth every penny... I prefer solid wood over particle board any day of the week!

Maybe I could use it to hold baskets full of socks or small articles of clothing, but I wanted a bookcase. I guess I should have researched it more,but when I searched for "3 shelf bookcase" this one popped up. It sounded good and looked nice, but $94 was too much for something that isn't strong.

The back panel is split in to two halves: one half of the panel was not long enough or wide enough to fully cover the seams, leaving visible gaps along one side and the top. The staining on this product is uncharacteristically uneven. It just isn't worth the money.
