(More customer reviews)I needed a high shelf to keep DVD's and a DVD player out of my daughter's reach. The movies fit perfectly on the top shelf, followed by the DVD player, and then a CD player. I found baskets in the Target stores that fit great on the two lower shelves and underneath the unit itself. It's perfect in a kids room. I highly recommend it to anyone.

(More customer reviews)I have never bought furniture online but the price tag lured me to do so. I got the material shipped [free shipping] earlier than it was supposed to be shipped. The assembly was pretty straight forward and took less than 30 minutes to get it up.
It is much lighter than I thought it would be. It is very easy to move it from one place to another without any load. It definitely saves a lot of space and we use it to stack all my study material. Once you load it with your books, you have to take out the books to move the rack around.
I have a lot of books and hence I was a bit afraid to load it up and test the strength of the shelves. I tested it with a dozen big books on the lowermost shelf and it seems to hold it pretty well so far.
If you are looking for something less heavier to hold, for instance flowers or if you intend to use this in the kitchen, try
[...]- My neighbors use this in the living room and they just have pictures and some art.
Good value for the price, I rate it a perfect 5!

(More customer reviews)This shelf is not worth the price. The material is flimsy and lightweight. In my opinion, it would resale in your neighborhood garage sale for $19. I am very disappointed. I was charge over $30 for shipping and it took more than 30 days to arrive! I could have built my own shelf with that cheap material in the same time. The list price info says you save over $300. That has to got to be a misprint. Because its not worth that amount and I soon found out all sales are final, including rip offs!"

Every time we have ordered one, it has come well packed in layers of Styrofoam and has been simple to put together. The shelves are quite sturdy, each of our three holds at least 100 books of varying sizes.
The only problem with these shelves is that they leave marks on the wall if you have to move/straighten them. This usually only happens when first putting up the shelves and initially positioning them, as they stay in place quite well when set up and full of books.
Also, Amazon tends to put these shelves on sale every so often, so you can usually pick one up for under $65 with shipping included, if you wait for the right time.
