(More customer reviews)We ordered this bed for our little girl's 6th birthday. She was really looking forward to it! When we peeled it out of its cardboard shell, we realized that several of the weight-bearing boards were splintered in half! We called Amazon customer service only to be told that they would not accept photographic proof of the damaged item, but that we had to go out and find and buy a box big enough to hold this damaged item and then return it. I cannot lift this on my own. The pieces that were not broken are longer than I am tall. Where on Earth am I going to find a box that will fit this?

She was very smug and unforgiving about the broken bed and sounded highly pleased with herself when I told her that there would be no boxes big enough to hold this item. She happily told me that I could not have the item replaced or refunded, and that I was simply out the $163 that I spent on a broken piece of junk.
