(More customer reviews)This bed is well priced, nice looking and functional. However, while we were putting it together some peices of partical board broke off around where the screws went. Fortunatly the breaks are on the inside of the bed so they can't be seen, but it does weaken the frame. One more thing is to make sure you have a thin matress to go on the top as the head and foot boards are rather low.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 7 yr old son... It's very sturdy and looks great. Has lots of room for his little stuff and is big enough to grow with him into his teens. My only complaint is that it does not attach to the bed. I guess we could manage something, but nothing was there to actually attach the bed frame to the headboard. Worth the money!

Copley Twin Mates Bed and Bookcase Headboard in Natural Maple Review

(More customer reviews)I was really looking forward to getting this bed for my 4 year old daughter to replace the full size bed with a lumpy mattress that took up a third of her room. I was given a delivery day and I stayed home to wait for it. When I checked the tracking number on that day it said that the item was damaged in transit and shipped back to sender, so it didn't even make it to my house. I called the store and asked them to ship it again right away and to make sure they package it well so this doesn't happen again. The headboard comes separately and was fine, I assembled it with a friend in about an hour. When the box finally made it to my house the packaging was completely torn to the point where all the boards could just slide out since there was no bottom. Thankfully there was no serious damage and no parts were missing. You definitely need two people for assembly and it took us 2 and a half hours to assemble and set up the bet. I loved the final look with the gorgeous sheets and comforter. The drawers are great and I fit a lot of clothes in them! The head board looks beautiful with books and soft toys, and the color is just as pictured. The bed is sturdy and though I do not allow my daughter to jump on it, I can lay down comfortably next to her to read a book at bedtime. Great buy and the best price I found for this item was at Amazon.

It's a great set, especially for the price. It does take a while to put together (and I've put together two full sets of it, for my son and daughter's rooms), but you get what you pay for.
