(More customer reviews)My son has a variety of toys, and this organizer helps me to keep everything separate. I keep alphabets blocks in one bin, soft toys in another, puppets in a third, and so on. So it is very easy for me to grab a new set of toys for my son to play with when he needs a new rotation!
You can't tell from the picture, but the cross bars are actually metal. I was pleased to note that when I assembled the piece. As many kids will try to climb into or on top of this unit, it is good to see construction that may stand up to that kind of abuse. I was anticipating wooden dowel rods, which would snap much more easily. So the quality of materials is good. And it was a snap to assemble.
I'm a fan of this piece and am very glad that I purchased it.

Kid's Bookshelf Mission Style in Honey Oak Finish Review

(More customer reviews)They call it a bookshelf but You can not fit regular size books in it!! I bought this for my 9 year old for all of his books and most of his books will not fit. If you are buying this for a baby with baby books then it should be fine. The thing is though it said it was for YOUTHS!! I am very disapointed!

(More customer reviews)Please be aware that the sides of the bookshelves are not finished as they appear in the photo. There are 4 large stainless steel bolts that are visible on each side of the bookshelf which are not aesthetically pleasing. I purchased 3 these bookshelves to line a wall so am keeping them, but would have returned them if they stood alone and the side of the bookcase was visible.

Target Marketing Systems Kids 4-Tier Shelf Review

(More customer reviews)I'm disappointed with this product. Should have just spent more $$ on something else,or only bought something that had reviews. Thus, here I am writing the first review.
The white paint didn't extend to the edges on some of the shelves.
There's a 1 inch spot near the front of a shelf where the paint obviously wasn't applied thick enough. It's a spot where you can see through to the wood. Tacky.
Other than the various defects (haha) I like the blue/white look of it. However, the 2-3 brass nails on the sides of each shelf are much much more obvious in person (in comparison to the picture shown). Well, I guessed this would be the case but now can confirm it's too prominent for me. Would be nice if they provided white covers for the nails so I guess I'll go get my own.
I'm really considering replacement parts, though don't have a lot of hope considering the *amen* "lacking quality" of what came the first time around. Returning this item is a pain. Since it's through a 2nd party (not Amazon), not likely to get a full refund. Read over the return policy for CSN and decide if it's worth it.

(More customer reviews)I was a little skeptical about purshasing this item (or other similar ones) because some reviews reported cracked bins and that amazon could not replace just a bin. I found Honey Can Dos phone #(708-240-8100) and called. They will actually replace individual bins for free if it is due to a manufacturer's defect. Otherwise, you can still purchase them individually for 4.99 and 5.99 (little/big; price as of 2/2011).

Just a bit disappoiinted in the company.

It was easy to assemble and the colorful cloth bins (which are included)are adorable and fit nicely into the cubby holes. My only criticism would be that the cubby holes are not deep enough. If it would be a little deeper, I could store some bigger toys in there. Overall, it is well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to organize but also wants the room to look beautiful!

(More customer reviews)We have had this toy shelf for quite awhile now and thank goodness. It helps to keep all those little balls, blocks and small stuff animals off the floor. So far it seems pretty durable. We attached the anchor strap to the wall and my daughter tugs and leans on the shelf with no problems. The one thing she does have a hard time with is when she wants to remove one container from any shelf other than the top she has a hard time and gets really frustrated. This usually leads to all of the bins above it coming out and toys strewn every where. Other than that though a great investment.
