(More customer reviews)This rack came in a small box with the parts needed for construction, no extra tools needed. The entire rack consists of plastic frame reinforced by metal bars for each shelf, making the entire thing seem somewhat weak or unstable looking. Comes with wall mounters which i didn't use, you'll have to consult with somebody else about those. But for the most part, the product is rather stable and my rack of ps2 games hasn't fallen down yet, which i say is a huge plus because it's a full 90 dvds. The shelves however themselves aren't shelves, it's just like, 2 bars pretty much, so they sometimes sit in the hole on the shelf layer rather than the shelf itself. I have not had any dvd topples or falls or real incidents with it so i say that's more or less a minor setback, but its still there.
At this point I am satisfied with this product; its compact, holds 90 dvds, cheap, and it works. May not be as nice as a real wooden media shelf, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Ore International 4 Tier Bookshelves - Cherry Review

(More customer reviews)It is a very nice bookshelf that actually looks like "real" furniture as it is finished wood, NOT particle board with a laminated photographic woodgrain. It took me only about 30 minutes to assemble the first one that I received. I was so pleased that I ordered a second one. This is when the trouble set in.
The second one arrived with damage (gouges, chips, scratches) to many of the wooden pieces. I contacted Amazon and they were very helpful, paying the return shipping and sending out a replacement via 1-day shipping. Unfortunately, the third one just arrived. When I first opened the carton, I was excited as there was no broken Styrofoam or readily apparent damage to the first couple of pieces I removed. It was devastating to unpackage the Top Shelf and discover a huge 1-1/2" long gouge in the top edge.
Needless to say, this one is going back as well. I have given up on getting a companion piece for the first one much to my disappointment. The shelf looks so nice but the packaging is AWFUL!!! All the manufacturer needs to do is to make the carton a bit larger and add move corrugated or higher density Styrofoam around the inside perimeter to protect the pieces. Order it only if you want a solid bookshelf but concerned about appearance. Otherwise the odds are that you - like me - will end up very disappointed and frustrated.
